NOMINATIONS

To nominate someone to receive a grant, you need to be signed up as part of Art Collection Liverpool, giving £1 a week. We only accept nominations from current members.

The artist you nominate must be either living, or creating most of their work, in one of the 30 wards of Liverpool.

You can nominate as many artists as you want, but artists will only receive funding once every two years. If an artist you nominate is not chosen for funding, you can nominate them again as many times as you like.

You do not need to specific what our funding will be used for- this is up to the individual artists. It can be used from anything, from development, to travel, to just paying a bill.

To make a nomination please email us, with NOMINATION in the header, telling us why you think this artist should receive a grant, some basic information about them and their art (where they work, any notable art work or local community work) and where we can find their work online. Nominations must be in by the 15th of the month to be considered for the following month.

Please note that while we primarily fund artists, we are happy to consider small, community-based or grassroots organisations that further creation in their areas.

We will only fund crowdfunders where the target amount is significantly higher than the grant we are giving.
